10 Items For Christmas

10 Things to get ready for Christmas

Hey y’all! I know that it’s only October and Halloween is weeks away. So why 10 items for Christmas? Well, why not? It’s the perfect time to get things ready before the holidays.

Number 1: Command Strips

I have all sizes of these! Big, small, different ones for different weights….

They are perfect for most surfaces to keep from putting up nails or hooks to hang things.

Number 2: Remote Light Plug ins

If I could only choose one of these 10 items, this would be the one.

Put them on the mantle, the tree, inside and outside, then with the push of a button turn them off and on – sitting on you sofa!

Trust me, they are a game changer!

Number 3: Batteries

We all know how many batteries we will need for all the things over the holidays.

What better way to corral them than the Battery Daddy?

Whether you have Battery Daddy or not, stock up on the batteries.

Number 4: Suction Cups

Suction cups are perfect for hanging things from slick surfaces like windows or mirror.

I hang wreaths from both of these – inside and out!

Number 5: Ornament Hooks

I have the regular ornament hooks just like everyone else.

However, every once in a while I want to have some ornaments hang from the end of the branch.

To make sure that the ornaments aren’t knocked off  I use elastic hair ties. ( see my video for how to)

They are also great for glass or large ornaments.

Guaranteed to hold!

Number 6: Extension Cords

No explanation needed!

Number 7: Gloves

These gloves are perfect for keeping your hands from getting torn up when fluffing garland or working with sting lights.

I wear thin white cotton gloves to put up my Christmas tree, mine came with the tree but these are similar.

Number 8: Fishing Line

Super strong and perfect to hang just about anything.

Best feature?

It’s almost invisible!

Number 9: Pipe Cleaners

Pipe cleaners are perfect for holding bows together and attaching them to your tree.

They are also great for hanging large ornaments or signs.

Best of all they are cheap and you can find them almost anywhere.

Number 10: The Big Guns

Let’s bring out the big guns!

You need a good glue gun and stapler.

This one from Ryobi is a favorite. ( I’m asking for the glue pen for Christmas!)

And this is the easiest staple gun from Stanley that I’ve ever used!

I hope that you enjoyed my top 10 items for Christmas and that they help you  make decorating for Christmas a little easier!

Until next time…

Tammy
