Berry Christmas Wreath

Happy Thursday! Today we are prepping to decorate for tomorrow when we will be decorating our front porch for Christmas!!! Terrie and I thought it would be fun to share how we decorate our wreaths that go on our front doors. I love mine so much I’m calling it a berry Christmas wreath.

Sorry, serious Dad joke, but I couldn’t resist!

Side note: If you liked how easy it was to make my front door Christmas wreath last year, you are going to LOVE how easy it is to make it this year!

Last Years Wreath

This is what last years wreath – minus the bow – looked like.

I love the deep dark evergreen and the bright red berries.

The jingle bells and ornament picks  were really cute too!

But it was time for a change.

I removed everything from the wreath to start fresh!

Gave the wreath a little fluff and it was ready to go for this year.

The first thing I did was add this bright red plaid bow.

If you ‘d like to see how I made it head on over to my Facebook page to see the video.

Normally I would decorate the wreath and add in the bow last, however since I’m keeping it simple I’m reversing the order this time.

Once the bow was secured to the wreath it was time to start adding in the berry picks.

Instead of adding in the picks all over the wreath like I did last year I decided to keep them all up by the bow.

I love the concentrated bursts of red on each side!

To keep it even I started on the right, then added into the left.

Keep adding right, left, right, left until you have added all the berries that you want!

It was so pretty I decided that my wreath needed nothing else.

See, I told you it was easy!

I love how my berry Christmas wreath turned out!

Be sure and come back tomorrow when I will be sharing how my front porch is decorated for Christmas.

Also, don’t forget to head on over to Terrie’s to see her wreath.
