Burlap Wreath for Spring

Hello!  The weather this week has been so beautiful that I have to admit that I haven’t done much painting.  I have been working in my yard getting it ready for summer.  Yes! Spring is FINALLY here! When I was working on my front entry I decided to make a new  burlap wreath for the front door.   I am probably the last person on earth to make a burlap wreath.  Sometimes it takes me a long time to get on the bandwagon for the latest trend.  I don’t know why…I just roll that way.

Here she is in all her spring glory!   I guess I did do a little painting…the letter L!   Burlap wreaths are supper easy and take very little time – which is right up my alley and leaves me more time for all of the million other projects here at the castle.

Have you started your spring/summer outside  decorating yet?  I think that this time of year is my favorite!  I love the clean up, mulching and planting new flowers.  I get giddy when I see all of the perennials  coming back from last year. I know that shorts, swimming and iced tea are just around the corner!

Until next time….
