Children’s Chairs Before and After
Our community had our neighborhood garage sale last weekend. I didn’t have my self together enough to participate and sell all of my nick nick paddy crap that seems to just appear out of thin air around here, but I did have fun doing a little shopping! Even the Hubs decided to tag along.
I found several awesome finds. Woo Hoo! Three chairs that the hubs is going to make into a chic french bench and an unusual barstool that we are hoping to replicate for our youngest’s new loft. One of the best finds were these sweet little children’s chairs. I’m not sure why, but if you follow along with me you know that I have been doing a lot of things for the littles lately. I am obsessed!
These cute little chairs were super sturdy. A little lot worn. And the colors didn’t match, but they had great bones.
A little white spray paint and hand painted flowers helped transform these chairs into something much prettier! I know better than most how paint can transform just about anything, but I am still amazed almost every single time.
Can’t you just see little ones at a tea party or even a garden party? Or little ones sitting in their chairs reading a book? They would be perfect pulled up to a small table for snacks or arts and crafts.
This children’s chairs before and after is possibly one of my very favorites. Unfortunately I won’t be keeping them. They will be available in my on-line shop soon.
So what do you think about my children’s chairs before and after makeover? Have you been to a garage sale lately and found something that you can’t wait to get home and start the makeover? I’d love to hear from you!
Until next time….
Tammy
