I’m going to be honest. I’m alway suppose to have new ideas, new items, new, new, new. Every time. However this time I didn’t find anything that I loved. So I’m using a lot of the same items I have before. Only simplified. And surprisingly, I love my Christmas front porch 2023.
I’ve always lived by the Tammy Faye Baker motto of more is more is more.
More color, texture, bling – just more.
So you could have knocked me over with a feather when I didn’t add more this time!
Yesterday I shared how I put together my front door wreath.
If you missed it you can see it here.
This wreath as really when I realized that I love simple decor.
Once I had my wreath decorated, It was time to think about the garland around the door.
It already has pinecones and a few berries here and there.
I could have left it there BUT I decided it was too plain.
So I added a red plaid bow that matches the one on the wreath.
Faux trees that I’ve had for years flank the front door.
Normally I raise them up in large planters, add ornaments, and a big bow.
I’m not gonna lie, if I go back and redecorate anything – I might at a minimum add in a bow to the pots.
The red truck doormat is usually at the back door.
I normally have a great big Santa doormat here.
However, Santa must have returned to the North Pole because that mat is AWOL.
I searched high and low and couldn’t find anything that I liked.
So I’m using this one.
The pretty black and white rug is one of two new things this year.
These white lanterns were new last year.
They hosted hanging ornaments and candles.
This year I decided to add new indoor/outdoor candles and these cute angels that I gave a glow up earlier this year.
Cute yes?
The last thing I added to my front porch is this beautiful little Christmas tree charm to my Home sign.
And once the lights are turned on, it looks really good with the rest of the house all lit up at night!
I love my Christmas front porch 2023!
Be sure and head on over to Terries to see how she decorated her front porch.
Decorate With Tip And More
Next week we will have the big Christmas home tour and I hope that you will come back for it.
Until next time…
