Christmas Front Porch

Snowman seating area

Welcome to my Christmas front porch! Today on Decorate With Us, Terrie, Corine and I are sharing our front porches all decked out for Christmas. I’m so excited to share, so let’s get started.

The Front Door

This is my front door.

I tried to keep this area fairly simply as it’s really kind of a small area.

I’ve got garland that is lit up all around the main door.

Two evergreen trees in black urns flank the door.

Lanterns and poinsettias are in front of them for a little color and texture.

To the left of the front door is my Home sign.

I made the sign a few years ago, but I buy all of my charms here.

Merry Seating Area

Just to the left as you approach the front door is a seating area.

I have two  black chairs with black and white striped cushions here year round.

The black and white color scheme is perfect as it goes with every season.

Just add a little color and you’ve got Christmas.

Or Easter, or Valentines, or Summer….

I made this Merry sign several Christmases ago at the Queen’s party.

The Side Porch

My porch wraps around the house on one side where there is a side door that leads into my art studio.

Before you get to that area, I have this love seat.

I placed a window above it and have embellished it with a swag and Santa sign.

In the very corner of my porch is a side entrance.

Since most of my family and friends actually use this door, I like to decorate it just like I do the front door.

Year round there are two rocking chairs there for side porch sitting.

Normally, in between the chairs are plants or maybe a small table.

I removed those and added these stacked snowmen.

This is the side door that leads into my art studio.

I have it decorated with a Santa believe door hanger that I painted.

A cute Santa stops here door mat is on top of a black and white buffalo check rug.

There used to be a matching one under the front door mat, however Sammy the squirrel decided that he needed a portion of it for his nest.

For some reason Sammy hasn’t chewed on this one. Yet.

The pillow in the chair is a red and white pom pillow that I found here.

That’s it for my Christmas front porch.

I hope you enjoyed it or maybe even got a little inspiration from it.

Be sure to head on over to Terrie’s @ Decorate And More With Tip and to Corine’s @ Junk To Gems and see what their front porches look like.

Also, if you’d like to see a video of my front porch, you can see it here.

Until next time….

Be Sure To Pin It For Later!
