Welcome to the Christmas Home Tour 2021! Is it just me or is this Christmas season flying by? I can honestly say that I’m finished decorating, however I still have some shopping to get done – no stress there!
My friend Terrie and I are sharing our homes decorated for Christmas. I’ll be sure and list Terrie’s link at the end of the post so that you can visit her when you are done here. You can also see a video tour of our homes here. Now let’s get started!
If you been following along for the past month, you may have seen a lot of my home already decorated.
However, I’m sharing it as a whole today.
The Entry.
This is the first thing that you see when you walk into my home.
I kept the blues and whites that I decorate with year round and added in golds and reds.
The Living Room
Right off of the entry is our living room.
Again, I kept the blues and added in reds, golds, and greens.
I think that my favorite new addition this year is these large white stars on the mantle.
They are whimsical and make a huge statement!
In the two years we have lived here, this is our third Christmas, we have had the tree in a different spot every year.
I guess I’m still trying to figure out the best place!
This year it’s placed on our window wall.
So far I like it here the best.
Breakfast Room
Just off of the living room is our breakfast room.
This may be the one room that gets the most love when decorating for a holiday.
The white hutch is definitely a favorite of mine when it comes to decorating.
The Hot cocoa/ coffee bar is in this room also.
So you know this room gets a ton of traffic!
The Kitchen
It wouldn’t feel like Christmas if the kitchen wasn’t decorated.
I try and keep it simple in here because we actually cook in here and it’s not a huge space.
The Bathrooms
While not a ton of decorating goes on in the bathrooms, I do add in just enough for them to be fun!
I’m always amazed that just by changing out a few towels and accessories it can change the entire room!
The Bedrooms
For the first time in a long time, I decorated my bedroom with all the bells and whistles.
A large tree, decor on the nightstands, pillows on the bed and art above the bed too!
Not shown here – I just purchased the cutest Christmas sheets for each of my bedrooms too!
I can’t wait to put them on the beds.
The Porches
Last, but certainly not least are my porches.
My front porch is an L shaped wrap around which I shared with you earlier this week.
It’s so fun to decorate!
And here’s a sneak peek of the back porch.
I’ll be sharing all of the details with you next week.
That’s it for my Christmas home tour 2021!
All of us here at The Castle wish you and yours the very merriest Christmas!
I hope that you will hop on over to Terrie’s to see their beautiful Christmas homes.
Until next time…
