Christmas Inspiration Board

Snowflake pillow

I have been planning my Christmas decor for a few weeks. In fact, I’ve been planning on sharing my Christmas Inspiration board with you all and started a list of what I would need.

And then I saw these pillow covers.

Everything changed.

My friends Terrie from Decorate and More With Tip and Corine from Junk To Gems and I shared a  month of fall decor last month.

We had so much fun decorating, crafting and hanging out with all of you that we decided to put together a Christmas Series.

And it starts today.

With this Christmas inspiration board!

Here’s my color palette for most of my house.

Lime green, Christmas green, Hunter green, Cardinal Red, Christmas red and black.

Oh, and a lot of white!

Basically, traditional Christmas colors.

My ribbon selection this year is super fun.

Shiny confetti, plaids, polk-a-dots and  a fun felt holly ribbon that I found last year.

I love all these colors, textures and patterns together.

You will see them mostly in the living room on my tree, mantle, and on presents.

The one place you won’t see those traditional colors is in the master bedroom.

For the past few years I’ve had a tabletop silver tinsel tree.

I love the retro feel.

It reminds me of the silver tree with the light wheel my family had when I was young.

In that room you will see traditional reds and greens as well as some pinks, limes and turquoise colors.

I shared this tree skirt with you last week and I’m happy to say it came in and it’s perfect for the master bedroom.

It has all the colors that look good on my tree.

In the next few weeks you  will also see a ton of crafts, projects, hostess gifts and decor ideas that we can’t wait to share with you.

It’s going to be so much fun.

So buckle up and hang on for the Christmas Decor series that my friends and I are preparing for  you.

It’s going to be a good one!

Be sure to head on over to my friends to see what they’ve got planned for Christmas!

                                                Terrie’s

Until next time….
