Hey friends! It’s Fri-yay! Which means it’s time for alfresco dining here at The Castle. Today I’m sharing a colorful outdoor table with you.
As always it’s always a table that was set in under 15 minutes, easy to do and cost little to no money.
The perfect fun table, right?
Step 1
I have a confession to make.
This table was inspired by the napkin rings.
Hobby Lobby has their Spring/Summer 75% off sale going right now and I couldn’t resist.
But before we get to the napkin rings, let’s start at the beginning.
I didn’t have a bright fun table runner, so I grabbed a long length of 5″ wide hot pink ribbon and ran it dow the center of the table.
Once that was done, I added a bright blue placemat in the center of the table.
Step 2
Next up, the centerpiece.
The centerpiece couldn’t have been any easier.
A few colorful pieces of tissue paper stuffed into a white pitcher, surrounded by tiny bud vases full of my garden flowers and mint.
Yep, I said mint.
It smells fantastic and adds filler, color and texture.
Is this the best centerpiece ever?
No, but it’s colorful and fits the bill.
Step 3
Once the centerpiece was finished it was time to lay out the place settings.
I started with this bright lime green placemat.
Step 4
Followed by this orange and white plate.
Step 5
A bright hot pink napkin, as well as colorful outdoor silverware, were both added to this fantastic lime green napkin ring.
Isn’t it the craziest, yet pretty napkin ring you’ve seen in awhile?
But, oh the pop of color and fun it adds to a table is amazing.
They were only $2.25 each!
Step 6
These colorful plastic glasses were the perfect addition to the place settings!
See how easy, fast and fun it was to set such a colorful outdoor table setting?
Other than the green flower napkin rings, I had everything else on hand.
It was simply a matter of pulling it out and putting it all together on the table.
So worth a few extra minutes to love up on your family!
That’s it for my dining alfresco summer series.
Although who knows what’s in store for the fall!
Until next time…..
