Easter Bunny Makeover

easter bunny

Hello! Happy Sunday! Today is Under 10 on the 10th where a group of bloggers get together on the 10th of the month and share fun ideas all under $10. Today I’ve got an Easter Bunny makeover for you that is so simple it’s almost embarrassing!

Our theme this month is Spring, and while my Easter Bunny is technically Easter I feel like bunnies cross over into the Spring category!

So let’s get started.

If you have been on social media you’ve seen a ton of these Dollar Tree bunnies that have had makeovers.

There is no shortage to the different facelifts these bunnies have undergone.

Apparently they come in brown as well as white.

However, I’ve yet to see any of the brown ones at the Dollar Trees near me.

On a recent trip to the Dollar Tree I spied several of these bunnies and thought “Why not?”

So I took one home and started making her a little “extra”.

Adding Felt Flowers

I have a ton of felt left over from other projects so I made some mini flowers and added them to the top of her head.

To attach them I used hot glue.

Now, if you don’t want to make the flowers there are a ton of options already made at Hobby Lobby.

Once the flowers were done, I added a pretty pink bow.

The ribbon came from my leftover scrap ribbon.

And my bunny is finished!

It literally took under 15 minutes!

But then, as I was writing this my imagination took off.

What about a pink tutu?

Or adding a felt decorated basket for her to carry?

What if I made a gold crown with flowers?

The possibilities are endless.

So how much did my Easter bunny makeover cost me?

A total of $1.25 plus tax since I had the felt and the ribbon.

However, even if you had to buy those items this bunny makeover would be well under $10!

Now I hope that you will join me in visiting the following Under $10 on the 10th participants to see what fun things they’ve come up with for Spring.
