Happy 10th of March! Today is Under $10 on the 10th where a group of bloggers get together and share projects that cost under $10. This months theme is Easter. Which I am very happy about. I’m so ready to bust out the Spring and Easter decor. Aren’t you? Today I’m sharing a super easy Easter wreath with you.

Supplies
The supplies that you will need to make this project are:
Floral stems with leaves
Scissors
Hot Glue and Hot Glue Gun
Acrylic Paint
Paint Brush
Step 1
Paint the eggs.
I have a ton of left over paint from other projects so I used it to paint my eggs.
The best paint for the eggs is a multi-surface paint, so I used that as much as possible.
It may take two or three different coats to cover the eggs, so be patient.
I used 35 eggs total, 5 eggs of each color, 7 different colors.
Step 2
Step 2 is to add leaves to your wreath form.
I had two old stems with leaves on them that I cut apart.
Simply glue the leaves to the form using hot glue.
Glue the leaves on facing one direction.
This serves two purposes.
The leaves hide the wire wreath form and the leaves help keep the eggs in place.
Once you have the form covered in leaves, it’s time for Step 3.
Step 3
Using a hot glue gun and glue, glue the painted eggs to the wreath.
Just like when I glued the leaves on in one direction, I did the same thing with the eggs.
Glue one color at a time until all eggs are glued onto the wreath.
Step 4
Step 4 is optional.
Paint random eggs with a clear based glitter paint.
This just adds a little shimmer.
And just like that my easy Easter wreath is finished.
I love all of the fun Easter colors!
So how much did my easy Easter wreath cost?
I’ll be honest, if I had to buy the paint I would have gone over the $10.
However, since I have a ton of it and I figure if you are a crafter you probably do too, I felt like it was okay to not add this into the cost.
2 packages of eggs – $1.25 each for a total of $2.50
1 wreath form – $1.25
2 stems of leaves- $1.25 each for a total of $2.50 – I already had mine but saw some very similar ones at the Dollar Tree.
This project comes in at a total of $6.25 plus tax.
