Happy Friday! It’s a dark, rainy, cozy day here in North Texas. So what better day than to work on Fall bedroom vibes? Normally I don’t decorate a lot in my bedroom, however I do want to add a few fall touches here and there.
This is what my bedroom looked like when I started.
Pretty, but I was ready for a change.
I looked everywhere for something new, but didn’t find anything.
Fall Bedding
In the end I decided to use this steel blue, white and taupe duvet from Pottery Barn.
I’ve had it awhile, but it’s still in great shape and I still love it.
Plus, it matches my mattilesse quilt that we love to sleep under year round perfectly.
Normally I add in cool blue buffalo check throw pillows, however these dark teal velvet ones feel a lot more fall like to me!
I bought these a few years back from HomeGoods.
They are a perfect match for a color in the duvet.
When it’s all put together, it has amazing fall bedroom vibes for me!
Fall Accents
I told I didn’t add a lot of fall decor but I do add in a little.
This white lantern usually hosts eucalyptus leaves and a candle.
I simply traded out the candle for a fun pumpkin, adding in a berry vine and some fall foliage to create a fall arrangement.
Easy peasy!
A few steel blue pumpkins and fall leaves finish off fall on my dresser!
Fall Artwork
It’s amazing how a little change of artwork in a room can make a big difference.
I took down all of the black framed art with the exception of my intaglios and added in warm gold frames with fall toned artwork.
And just like that – it feels like fall!
There are still a few things I want to add, but I want to find the perfect items, so I’m in no hurry!
Decorate With Tip And More
I hope that you will join me in visiting Terrie to see her fall bedroom.
She does not disappoint!
Until next time…
