As I told you in my last post, I haven’t really gotten into the Fall decorating spirit yet – at least I didn’t think so. I was recently at Big Lots picking up a Pokeeno gift and I saw the cutest Fall Wreath.
Okay… so maybe I was ready. A little bit. I loved the colors and the simplicity of this wreath. It was calling my name.
I added a small bow made of two different types of burlap and some raffia. My fall wreath was done! In years past I would probably have added a bigger bow or something glitzy to give it a bigger impact, but this year I am loving the simplicity of everything. I love that the color and texture really make an impact statement on my black door. Sometimes less really is more!
Here is my tiny entry porch. That wreath just screams Happy Fall! As you can see, the flowers are still going strong so it may be a while before I pull them up and add Mums and Pansies. Although I may add a few pumpkins 0r replace my cute little chair for a rustic crate filled with flowers and pumpkins, maybe a new entry rug? Just not today! Today I am just happy with my sweet fall wreath!
Until next time…..
