Hey y’all! Today my friends Terrie, Corine, Niki and I are all sharing how we decorated our bedrooms for Christmas. We all have different themes, colors and styles. I think that I will call mine a Merry and Bright bedroom.
Want a tour?
Let’s start on one side of the room and work our way around.
The Dresser Wall
Yesterday I shared how I put together this arrangement in my lantern.
If you missed it, you can see it here.
The lantern sits here year round on my dresser, all it needed was a little Christmas decor to help make this room merry and bright.
On the end of the dresser is are these candlesticks.
Again, they live here year round.
It was easy to make them look Christmasy by simply adding red ribbon.
The Window Wall
Remember the new chairs I bought a few months ago?
Well, I had to do a little furniture rearranging in the living room.
So one of the chairs came to the bedroom – and I LOVE it there.
A cute pillow and a fuzzy throw makes this corner super cozy.
I have had this Christmas tree for the past few years.
Same merry and bright ornaments!
I love it so much that it’s going to be awhile before I change it up.
To make it seem different I just add in a few new ornaments and add different ribbon.
The Bed Wall
The night stand holds lots of bright decor.
And the screen that I took apart and hung behind both nightstands in our bedroom hosts the prettiest Christmas wreaths.
And now for the focal point in the room – my bed,
Again, I kept the matelasse quilt that is on the bed year round and added another vintage quilt to the end of the bed.
Can you believe that one of my husbands relatives hand stitched every red medallion?
It’s perfect for Christmas.
A few red snowflake pillows, some garland on top of the bed and a Merry Christmas wooden sign definitely make this a merry and bright bedroom!
Now Please join me in visiting Terrie, Corine and Niki to see what their bedrooms look like all decked out for Christmas!
