A few weeks ago i participated in the Tablescape Inspiration DIY Challenge. I made these placemats to go on my Thanksgiving table. I promised that I would share my table with you at a later date. Well, today is that day!
Each pacesetting started with a light turquoise quilted placemat, followed by an orange charger. My hobnail white plates were a natural choice for me, as my napkins and salad plates both had white backgrounds.
The napkins are from the Pioneer Woman line. I bought them a few years ago and added a different colorful trim to each one of them.
If you look closely you will also see that I used two different pumpkin themed salad plates! I love a complimentary mis-matched table!
My turquoise goblets were a fun find a year ago in the clearance isle at Hobby Lobby! At a few dollars each they were a steal!
One of my new purchases this year was the eucalyptus greenery. Half of my family is allergic to eucalyptus, so finding a good looking faux stem or vine has been on my list for awhile.
This wooden pumpkin has been around for quite a few years, however I’m still in love with it and use it a lot during the fall season.
I dug out my brass candlesticks and added these light turquoise and gold candles.
As you can see, my Thanksgiving table is a little more simple than in years past.
While it has a ton of neutrals, it also has it’s fair share of color! Which is right up my alley!
Until next time….
