New Outdoor Patio Furniture

I have new outdoor patio furniture! A week or so ago I shared with you my crazy Walmart adventure about buying patio furniture. If you missed it you can see it here.

The short version is that I bought patio furniture and it had multiple parts missing.

The Hubs called the furniture makers and they agreed to ship us all the missing parts.

Free!

It sat just like this on the back patio for a week and a half.

Good news. The parts came in on Friday!

It took The Hubs a couple of hours, but with a lot of sweat and hard work the patio furniture went together and we were ready to set up the patios.

We have two small patios here at the castle.

One is just out side the back door, to the right.

The other, we call the partio, is to the left of the door.

It’s our favorite place to hang in the evenings.

This is what it looked like before the new furniture.

Just these two chairs and a lot of empty flagstone.

Since we had an empty spot and our grills are also on this patio, it made since to put the new table and chairs here.

The adirondack chairs were replaced by these matching wicker ones.

At this point I thought I was happy with the arrangement.

Boy, was I wrong.

The new chairs were not comfortable at all.

I didn’t like that the new patio furniture, which is bar height, blocked the view of the grill and the walkway to the house.

It reminded me of a kitchen that was closed off by a lot of walls.

Early Sunday morning I had a thought.

What if we flipped the furniture on the patio and the ones on the partio?

So, we did.

I took out the uncomfy chairs and added the navy adirondack chairs back in.

I’m not sure, but I think I love it.

And the table and chairs fit the patio by the house perfectly!

A little rearranging of potted plants and some new decor items are in the future, but for now I’m really liking it.

It’s only been 3 days, but we’ve already eaten out there for a couple of meals.

I am so pleased with our new outdoor patio furniture!

Until next time….
