Spring Clean Breakfast Room

Happy Friday! I have to say that I am soooo ready for the weekend. And I’m super excited to share my Spring Clean breakfast room with you.

Terrie over at Decorate With Tip and More is sharing her dining room too, I’ll be sure and share the link below so you can visit her when you are finished here.

Curtains

I’ll be honest, my motivation for getting this room spick and span clean was to be able to put these curtains back up.

I took them down a year or so ago for a more neutral look, but I’ve been craving more color lately.

These fit the bill perfectly!

I found the fabric to make these at Ballard Designs, it’s called Emmie.

Even though it’s a splurge, It truly is one of my favorite fabrics of all time.

I waited until they had a huge sale and ordered enough to make the curtains!

Centerpiece

This room received a big Spring Clean.

Everything from the ceiling to the floor was dusted, cleaned, shined, and washed.

Once everything was put back into it’s place it was time to decorate.

My table isn’t very wide so centerpieces need to be somewhat small.

A runner went down first on the table, followed by a tray filled with salt and pepper shakers and a fun plant.

Hutch

I always have fun decorating my breakfast room hutch.

Not only is it filled with my white dishes, but it’s so fun to add in my blue and white dishes.

Coffee Bar

The coffee bar doesn’t change much.

I generally keep white mugs, cream and sugar servers etc..on the sideboard next to the coffee pot.

I’ve had my blue and white plate wreath above the sideboard for awhile.

Until I get board with it, that’s where its going to stay!

I hope that you enjoyed seeing my spring clean breakfast room as much as we are enjoying it!

Be sure and head on over to Terrie’s to see her gorgeous dining room.
