Spring Decor Sign

Hey y’all! Today is the DIY Challenge. Our Challenge this month is Spring Decor. And I’m here for it! I have the easiest Spring Decor Sign that you will ever make. Seriously.

A quick thanks to Shae at Sweet Southern Grace for hosting this DIY Challenge!

We so appreciate her!

It all started with this Dollar Tree sign….

I found this sign and thought it was super cute, but knew that it wasn’t exactly the style of my home.

I took it home knowing that I’d find something to do with it, It was too cute to leave in the store.

Then I was at Hobby Lobby and saw that their wood items were on sale and scored this cute sign.

Again, I loved the look but the silver wasn’t doing it for me.

However, for $4.24 how could I pass it up?

When I got home I was gathering up my items and these two ended up together.

A light bulb went off!

It was as if Dollar Tree and Hobby Lobby had a baby!

So meant to be.

I  took the Hobby Lobby Sign, taped off the center and gave it a few light coats of gold spray paint.

While the paint was drying, I took apart the Dollar Tree sign.

I took off the metal corrugated ear on the rabbit, flipped it over and painted it white.

Once the rabbit was dry, I added a small plaid orange bow.

Once everything had dried, I laid the smaller  signs out on the larger sign where I wanted them and then hot glued them on!

I added a cute Easter bow to the top and my Spring Decor Sign was ready to hang!

See? I told you it was easy!

Now please join me in visiting all of the other participants to see their Spring DIY as well!
