Sprucing Up The TV Wall

Without a doubt, decorating around the TV is difficult. It’s a big black hole that takes up a lot of space. I think in the 2 years we’ve been in this house I’ve decorated around the TV 4 times. No lie. But I think I’ve finally gotten something that I can live with!  Today I’m sharing how Sprucing up the TV wall was a game changer for my living room.

This is design number 2.

Honestly, I liked this one a lot.

The only downside was that I felt like the blue dishes would look better above my buffet.

So I took the dishes down and went online for some free artwork.

I found these, printed them out and put them in some old gold frames that I had.

The arrangement was fine.

However, something was off.

I lived with it awhile and finally came to the conclusion that all of the lighter, brighter colors and the big black hole were fighting with each other.

It was definitely time to look for something else.

If you are a subscriber to Anne’s On Sutton Place, she has some of the best free printables that you can find.

I saw these botanicals and knew that they would be perfect!

Here’s how she framed her’s.

One look told me that this is the look I needed for my TV wall.

As luck would have it, I didn’t have to look too far.

These black frames were the perfect size, price, came with their own hangers and I could get them the next day.

Here’s what the botanicals look like framed .

Aren’t they pretty?

The botanicals were printed out on cardstock on my home printer.

I think they turned out pretty well.

And while this isn’t the best photo, you can see that they are perfect for sprucing up my TV wall!

I couldn’t be happier with the finished look!

But it did make me realize that the TV cabinet needs a few upgrades.

So that is definitely next on my list!

Until next time….
