Summer Round Table Decor

Summer round table decor

Happy Decorate With Us Wednesday! My friends Terrie from Decorate With Tip and More, Corine from Junk to Gems and I are sharing  super fun Summer Round Table decor.

Terrie had a reader Mary Helen Garcia ask us to share how we would decorate a round table for Summer.

Now since I don’t have a round table I’m setting my coffee table in my living room since it used to be my dining room table!

Weird, I know, but it works!

Step 1

I folded a regular rectangular table cloth in half and used it as a large table runner.

All of the colors in the tablecloth are going to be used in the rest of the table!

Once my “table runner” was in place I added these blue round placemats.

The tablecloth was purchased at HomeGood and the placemats I have had a long time!

Step 2

Now for my centerpiece.

A quick trip to the grocery store and I had fresh flowers to put in one of my blue and white ginger jars.

Step 3

Now for the plate stack!

A hot pink and white charger matches the hot pink in the tablecloth.

Step 4

Spode Italianate blue and white dishes and a green cabbage plate complete the plate stack!

My napkin is turquoise with a yellow flower napkin ring I was gifted many years ago!

Since my entire Summer round table decor is centered around a botanical theme my bamboo flatware is perfect for this table!

Do you notice anything different in this picture?

Nope, not the turquoise water/tea glass, although those are some of my favorite glasses.

I moved the centerpiece off of the white riser and placed it on a larger cabbage plate.

Better to see everyone at the table and the green plate matches those in the plate stack!

The Over Head View

Here’s what my table looks like from the over head view.

Lots of fun color, pattern and texture.

However, I feel as if it all creates a fun Summer table!

I hope that you enjoyed my Summer round table decor and will join me in visiting both Terrie and Corine to see what their tables look like.

I also have a video on Facebook that shows how I put my table together.

You can see it here.

Until next time….

Tammy
