Turquoise and Orange Thanksgiving Table

giveaway

Don’t you love a pretty, formal Thanksgiving table? I sure do. However, 2020 has given us so many unexpected surprises that I’m  mixing my Thanksgiving  table decor up a little. The unexpected- with a little traditional decor thrown in. I guess you could say that it’s a Turquoise and Orange Thanksgiving table. Oh! And I’ve got a giveaway for you too.

But first, the table.

Thanksgiving will be a little different this year.

#COVID

Instead of gearing up for a big family dinner, I’m setting my table for just the four of us.

So my holiday table will be a little more simple.

Simple, but filled with lots of color.

I started with a turquoise buffalo check table runner.

Followed by a wooden tray layered with eucalyptus leaves, bitter sweet and an orange pumpkin tureen to make a fun centerpiece.

Candles were added for a little traditional accent.

Normally, I’d set the table with formal china, crystal glassware and linen napkins.

Not this year.

A natural straw placemat hosts a plain white plate and pumpkin salad plates.

The salad plates come in two different colors.

Two are turquoise…

And the other two are orange.

These pretty wooden napkin rings are a Mudpie creation.

I love that they have a built in place card holder.

I looked around for a cute place card and came up empty.

So I made my own.

Turquoise and orange watercolor pumpkins.

Once I had them painted, I simply scanned them into the computer and added names to them.

Super easy and I love how they turned out.

I picked up this super cute cutting board, along with the stuffing spoon and the turkey fork  from Mudpie.

I love all of the fun, witty slogans they put on everything.

They fit right in with my sense of humor for sure!

Can you tell I’m a Mudpie fan?
