What’s On Your… Summer Table

Summer Table

Every once in awhile my friends Terrie at Decorate With Tip and More, Corine from Junk To Gems and I get asked what’s on your… coffee table? Or kitchen island? Today we are answering the question of What’s on your… Summer table?

Since my breakfast room is blue and white AND I’m setting a table that would be for everyday, not a holiday, I chose to set my table in all blues and whites.]

Also, almost all of the things used on my table I’ve had for sometime.

I love taking items I already have and mixing them up to create something new and different!

Always clean your table before adding a runner or table cloth.

The Centerpiece

Once my table runner was in place it was time for my centerpiece.

I chose to use a white wooden lift to go in the center of my table.

On top of that I added in a blue and white vase sporting some faux lettuce.

On either side of the lettuce I placed a candle and a salt and pepper shaker.

Plate Stack

I’m starting my plate stack with this blue and white bamboo charger I picked up at Hobby Lobby a few years ago.

On top of the charger I placed white hob nail plates, followed by blue and white bandana print melamine salad plates.

This girl is not afraid to mix her styles of plates!

The Napkin

For a napkin I am using these blue and white buffalo check ones.

I love the size, the material and how well they wash!

The napkin ring is a leather band with a blingy buckle.

The Hubs made these for me a few years ago and I love them!

Glassware

This time around I added in two blue glasses.

One for water and one for lemonade, tea etc.

Flatware

I know I said that my tables cape was going to be all blue and white, but using my bamboo flatware gives the place setting texture, color and makes the rest of the blues pop.

And just like that I think I answered the question of What’s on your… Summer table!

I love this so much and honestly can see how easy it would be to change it up by adding in hot summer colors like hot pink, red, orange and yellows.

Maybe a beautiful summer flower arrangement in a pretty white pitcher?

The possibilities are endless!

Please join me in visiting Terrie to see her Summer Table here.

Until next time……
