Where are My Crowns?

Not long ago a friend asked me if I had one room that was full of crowns? I smiled and told her that one room couldn’t possible hold all of my crowns! So, where are my crowns here at the castle?

First, I must give this disclaimer: 99.9% of all of my crowns I have received as gifts. I didn’t buy all of them.  As they say in my birth place of Oklahoma – I love each and everyone of them as if I had given birth to them my own self. Truth.  I have so many that I spread them  throughout the castle. They shine better with plenty of room!

I have so many crowns, in so many rooms, that I am going to share them with you a little bit at a time, here and there.

I’ll start with my office. The office probably has the most of any room. My crowns are high, low, hanging, sitting, and in every nook and cranny. Basically, everywhere you look!

As an artist I can be a little messy. I am not a coffee person, so I use quite a few of my crown mugs to hold my pencils, markers, pens, etc.  My desk is full of wonderful, beautiful, shiny crowns.

I even have a Queenly mascot, Queen Myrtle. She’s a little bossy and doesn’t get off of her throne often, but she is a lot of fun.

All of my crowns come in many different shapes and sizes. This one is definitely large and shiny!

My crowns are made of everything from plastic to metal. Some are plain and some have a ton of  rhinestones. I don’t discriminate in displaying even the most inexpensive of the bunch!

I have a pretty crown that hold all of my boas.

Every picture frame, except for one, has a crown on it. I also have many several wooden and metal crown signs!

As the sign says: It ain’t easy being Queen! I mean, how does one decide which crown to wear each day?

So many crowns, so little time!

If you, like my friend, are wondering where are my crowns? I guess the easy answer is – everywhere!

Before I  go, all of us here at the castle want to wish you Happy Mother’s Day!
