I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter! Normally, the day after Easter has me putting away the bunnies and starting to work in my garden. However, the weather isn’t co-perating. It’s cold! So, today I’m going to share just a few things with you that I do have going on.
Last weekend I did get a few tomato plants in the ground before it started to rain.
I can’t wait for summer tomatoes.
There is nothing better than fresh tomatoes right off of the vine!
Thank goodness Mother Nature does her thing with no help from me.
The recent rains have helped with the plants for sure.
The clematis are in full bloom.
The pond water lilies are going crazy.
The pink lilies aren’t blooming yet. Thats okay. I love the white ones, especially at night.
Here in Texas we rarely get winters cold enough to kill all of the plants.
It’s a rare winter that I don’t have flowers “over winter”.
I planted this vinca plant last year in a pot on my patio.
Apparently, it is very happy there as it is in full bloom.
So pretty!
These geraniums are new this year, but aren’t they a beautiful color?
It is one happy, healthy plant!
I did sneak out on the front porch and pull the bunny wreath.
I looked for a spring wreath in the closet and found nothing.
Makes me wonder what I put up last year? How do I not know?
Guess making a new spring door decoration is definitely in my future!
Now for the inside.
All of the bunnies and all things Easter are put away.
New spring decor decorates the dining room table.
The kitchen hutch is rearranged and sporting just a few things that are new in my white dish collection.
Once I finished decorating, it was time to get my creative hat on.
I found time to paint a sample for an upcoming nursery mural I will be painting.
And last, but not least, I changed out my chalkboard.
I really will miss my bunny, but this sign will remind me that it won’t be cold forever.
Spring and warmer weather really is just around the corner.
I just have to believe!
Until next time….
