Okay, I’m going to give it to you straight. I’m the last person to give advice on fashion. Yet, here I am doing just that!
It’s the Ten on the 10th! This months theme is Fashion. I have to admit that when I read the theme I almost took a hard pass until next month. On the girly scale I’m probably at the 30- 40% mark. Maybe! Let me give you a little background before I share my sage advice with you.
Like most Texas/Southern girls I like to look good.
I may be schlepping it in shorts and a T, but I will have my hair done and slapped on some mascara and lip gloss! And I will almost always have on a cute pair of shoes or flip flops..(shoes always fit, even if you gain 10 pounds!)
My friends will tell you that I’ll shop all day long for decor items, but I hate to shop for clothes.
Don’t even get me started on stores like Dillards and Macy’s. Lovely stores for most gals. However, I want to run screaming from them within ten seconds of entering. Why can’t they just put all the shirts in ONE area? It’s not a treasure hunt! Girls that can hang here are my heroes.
I share my neurosis with you so that you can see where I’m coming from. I know, it’s very scary!
However, through sheer necessity I have found a few things recently that I love. In one of the most unusual places.
Remember I told you I was in Oklahoma? Well, I forget to pack a some of my shirts. So I ran to Walmart for a few T’s to get me through.
Instead I found two of the cutest shirts ever. On sale.
So cute! I love the detail on the bottom of this shirt.
Light weight and so comfy.
