What I Did Over the Weekend

Morning all! I hope that you had a wonderful holiday weekend. I know that I did. So come on in and let me share with you what I did over the weekend.

I would love to tell you that I went some place exotic, but no. However, I did get a lot done!

Friday was my fellow Queen Donna’s birthday. A few of us took lunch and gifts  to her house and celebrated.

After all of the celebration I did a little shopping and found the cutest tassel curtains for Beep’s room. They match her bedding perfectly. I can’t wait to see them hung!

Saturday The Hubs and I headed out to Austin, Tx for a late birthday celebration with our eldest son, Ryan.  Always fun to be with my boys.

This is one of my favorite pictures of my boys when they were little.

He is seriously going to kill me for posting this!

Sunday I finished painting all of the trim in the master bedroom.

So NOT my favorite thing to do, but if felt great to get it done.

Which is why I decided to go  ahead and paint all of the doors, trim and cabinets in the master bathroom on Monday!

I forgot to get a good picture before I started sanding! What a mess!

Monday afternoon found me twiddling my thumbs so I started another project that I have been putting off for awhile.

Painting the dining room ceiling. Actually, the whole room needs repainted, I’m taking baby steps in here.

I had The Hubs take down the existing light fixture so I could paint.

Which led to me cleaning and refurbishing this light fixture to hang instead.

I LOVE this fixture and can’t wait to see it up in the dining room.

Somewhere in between all of that, I played with my St. Patrick’s Day table in the kitchen!

All of my projects are still in the works. Literally watching paint dry people!

As you can imagine, I’m gonna be busy today putting all of it back together.

So, that’s what I did over the  weekend. What did you do?

Until next time….
