Easy Easter Basket Tags
Hey y’all! Today is the Creative Craft Blog Hop! I love getting together with other crafters and sharing different crafts. My craft for this hop is easy Easter basket tags. They are easy to make and look so cute on your easter basket!

The Tag
I decided that my Easter basket tag would be a bunny.
Making a pattern was so easy.
Just draw to adjoining circles and then draw on the ears.
Once your pattern is finished transfer it to thin wooden plywood with transfer paper.
I cut my bunnies out using a scroll saw.
However, you could also use a jig saw.
But what if you don’t know how to use a saw or don’t even want to?
Dollar tree has the cutest wooden cutouts!
I think these would be adorable easy Easter basket tags!
Paint the Tag
Once you have your cutouts it’s time to give them a base coat of paint.
Since I decided on bunnies, I gave mine two or three coats of white paint.
Drill A Hole To Hang The Tag
I needed a way to attach the tag to my basket.
The easiest way to do this was to drill a hole in my bunny.
If you pick up tags from your local Dollar Tree, these holes are already there for you!
Paint the Bunny
Once your base coat is finished, it’s time to add on the fun details.
Paint the bunnies ears, face etc.
As you can see here I have both a girl bunny and a boy bunny.
You could even paint on eye glasses, a big hair bow, or even add freckles!
Paint Wooden Beads
Next, I painted 2 wooden beads per bunny.
The paint color on the beads matches the paint on the bunny!
Add Names To The Tag
Of course adding a name to the tag is a big plus.
Using a Sharpie or a Posca Paint pen add the name or monogram of choice to your tag.
Not a big fan of you hand lettering?
No problem!
Just use stick on letters!
Add The Beads To the Tag
Using 12 to 15 inches of jute string, take one end and thread it through the hole that you previously made.
Bring the ends together and string the beads onto both strings of the jute.
Tie a knot in the strings just above the beads to hold them in place.
Leave the rest of the string so that you are able to tie the tag to your basket.
That completes how to make an easy Easter basket tag!
