Summer Home Tour

Hey y’all. It’s hot outside. Not a newsflash? Well, with the heat I’m staying inside as much as possible. So my friend Terrie at Decorate With Tip and More thought it would be fun to share our Summer Home Tour with you! So we made a video and a blog just so you could get a good look!

Starting with the front door!

Remember it’s hot?

Well, I keep it simple with a few ferns flanking the door and a fun and bright Summer wreath.

When you step inside the door you will see the entry.

It’s small but packs a big punch.

To the left of the entry is the library.

This room pretty much stays the same throughout the year.

It’s feels like one big hug and is the perfect place to read or play the piano or the guitar.

I read, everyone else plays the instruments!  Ha!

Right off the entry is the living room.

This room is one of my favorite places to be.

My bedroom is lots of neutrals which feels cool, calm and restful to me.

My breakfast room is pretty much just like it was after I decorated it for Spring.

With the exception of some colorful lemons placed here and there for pops of color.

Next up, my kitchen.

This time of year I like to keep it as clutter free as possible.

I do have fun with my island decor.

It is so fun to have fresh flowers from the garden in the kitchen.

And last in my Summer home tour is my powder bath.

I put out summer scented soaps, candles and summer patterned towels.
