A Christmas Table
Hey y’all! Today on Decorate With Us Christmas 2023 my friend Terrie and I are decorating our dining room tables. Since I don’t have a dining room, I’m back in my breakfast room with a Christmas table for you!
Since I’m decorating my table in my breakfast room it’s going to be a combination of whimsy, casual with a tiny bit of traditional formality.
Since my table is an odd size I usually use a table runner rather than a table cloth.
The Place Setting
Once my runner is on my table it’s time to add plates.
Normally I’d add the centerpiece but because I have more plates than usual I want to add the plate stack first to see how much room I’ll have for the centerpiece.
Placemat – Walmart ( years ago)
Gold Charger – Hobby Lobby
Christmas plate, salad plate, and bowl – Walmart ( years ago)
Flatware
Since I used a gold charger, I decided that using gold flatware would tie it all together.
AND if you like this flatware it’s on sale right now at a great price for 20 pieces!
These red goblets were a Pokeeno win many years ago.
I don’t use them much but I love the red glass filled with bubbles!
It’s the perfect size for water or tea.
The Place Card
If you’ve followed along you know I love a good place card.
These jingle bell place card holders were purchased last year…. and I still love them.
So I’m using them again this year.
The Centerpiece
I just realized that I forgot to show you the centerpiece.
These red reindeer add in whimsy, color and texture.
Add in a few colorful ornaments and the centerpiece took minutes and is perfect for this table.
Here’s the finished place setting.
Cute, yes?
I hope that you got a little inspiration from a Christmas table that is a little fun, traditional and whimsical.
Please join me in visiting Terrie to see how she set her formal dining room table.

Your eating area looks amazing, so pretty and festive. Love how it completes the room. Great job Tammy!
I love the wreath on the chandelier! Did you use one or two wreaths?
