Our 2022 Christmas Tree!
Today is the last day that we will be in our family room for Decorate With Us. I’m so happy to be sharing our 2022 Christmas Tree! I finally am starting to get into the Christmas spirit.
When you are finished here, be sure and head on over to Terrie’s to see what her tree looks like. She never disappoints!
Step 1
This is probably the most boring step for me, however it’s the most important.
Fluff your tree, check your lights and add you tree topper.
Step 2
Add your ribbon.
I usually use at least 3 different styles that have 3 different widths.
My favorite would be a 4 “, 3 or 2 1/2″ and a 1 – 1 1/2 ” for the width.
I added my ribbon in a different style this year.
If you would like to see how I did it, you can watch a video here.
Step 3
Add in your large bulbs.
See the large red one in the middle?
I usually tuck these back into the tree branches.
This helps fill in any holes and helps not only the tree look good but helps the rest of the ornaments pop off of the tree!
Step 4
Add in your statement ornaments.
What is a statement ornament?
To me it’s anything that is larger than your average ornaments.
Like this Santa and this pink Cadillac in the photo above.
Tip: These ornaments can get heavy. I hang mine using pipe cleaner or floral wire.
Step 5
Add in the rest of your ornaments!
TIP: I put all non-breakable or soft ornaments down low.
Perfect if you have littles or large pets that brush against the tree!
Step 6
Normally, I would add in greenery picks on step one to help fill in the tree or add extra texture.
However, this time I decided to wait until the end and add in these red and white over sized pom poms.
The are super easy to make, inexpensive and are great at filling in any holes or bare spots and adding in lots of color.
That’s it for our 2022 Christmas Tree.
Please be sure and head on over to Terrie’s to see her Christmas tree all decorated for Christmas.
You don’t want to miss it!

Pin For Inspiration!
I just love how you decorate your tree, each year I am inspired. Love the ribbon you use and those poms you made to place on the tree. Love how you add sentimental ornaments to your tree, love the memories you have on your Christmas tree.
Thank you Terrie. Some years I think I need to do a pretty elegant tree.. but I just can’t seem to do so! Maybe next year!
