Santa Christmas Hutch
Happy Wednesday! Today is day 6 of our Decorate With Us Christmas series 2024. Today my friends Terrie from Decorate With Tip and More, Teresa from Through A Vintage Door and I are decorating our kitchen hutches for Christmas. I’m calling mine a Santa Christmas Hutch.
Have you ever had a plan to decorate with the most beautiful colors and decor?
I wanted to have this royal blue velvet, red velvet and teal ribbon.
I’d have lots of gold and it would be so so pretty and elegant.
And then my teal ribbon was discontinued and my plan fell apart.
So enter plan B.
Which was really just me playing with the decor and dishes that I already have.
It started with the large Santa pitcher on the middle shelf.
I’ve had it for more years than I can count and love it!
From there I pulled out my Christmas dishes and Santa mugs.
Then the red bottle brush trees as well as greenery for the perfect decorations.
Since I used my Christmas dishes, I pulled out the matching platter and placed it on top of the hutch with some cute red reindeer.
Plaid napkins and dishes are laid out in easy reach on the far left side of my hutch.
I really do use these daily during the Christmas season.
On the far right bowls, another Santa mug ( yes, I may have a problem in the mug department!) and my large white serving bowl is filled with shiny red, green and gold ornaments.
To finish off my lower shelf I added this happy Santa and wreath.
While I still dream of my navy, red and teal elegance, I love how my Santa Christmas hutch turned out.
It makes me super happy everyday that I come into my breakfast room!
Until next time…
Tammy
Pin It For Inspiration!
I think this is by far my favorite hutch you have decorated. I love Santa, you showcased him quite well. Love it Tammy.
Thank you Terrie. That means a lot coming from you. Apparently I love Santa too because I had no idea how many of those Santa mugs i had! lol
