Thanksgiving Napkin Rings
Happy Monday! Today is Under $10 on the 10th, where a few bloggers get together and share something fun for under $10 on the 10th of the month. This month our theme is Thanksgiving and I have the cutest and possibly the easiest way to make Thanksgiving napkin rings. I’m not kidding.
Supplies
Basically you are going to need two things.
Wooden rings and these faux leather tags from the Dollar Tree.
You will also need glue.
Wooden Rings
My wooden rings were cut out by my husband on his laser cutter.
Since they were a little thinner than I wanted I glued two rings together using wood glue.
Since I plan to set a rustic table, I chose not to paint mine.
However, if I were doing any other table I would paint these.
But what if you don’t have a laser cutting machine?
Well Michaels has these wooden rings 5 for $2.99!
I think these would be beautiful stained or painted a pretty fall color.
Leather Tags
First, untie the end of each tag.
Next, glue the “leaf” or “pumpkin” to the center of the wooden ring using hot glue.
Taking one of the leather tag cords, neatly wrap it around the napkin ring.
Glue the end to the inside of the ring and cut off any excess cording.
Do the same with the other cord on the opposite side of the tag.
Make sure that the wrap is even and neat.
That’s it!
These Thanksgiving napkin rings couldn’t be easier!
They turned out super cute!
So how much did my Thanksgiving napkin rings cost?
Dollar Tree Faux Leather Tags: $1.25 plus tax
Wooden rings: Mine were free.
However, if you bought yours: $2.99 plus tax
Total cost with tax: $4.58 for 4 napkin rings!
Now please join me in visiting the other participants for this month.
I can’t wait to see what they are making!

Until next time….
I have seen those leather Fall hangers in Dollar Tree, thought they were cute, but didn’t know what to do with them. You have an eye for things, love your napkin rings. The place setting looks great.
Thank you Terrie! I bought those leather tags and had no idea what to do either… but I love them as napkin rings! Thanks for stopping by!
What a great idea for using those Dollar Tree faux leather tags! They look real good used in your place setting, too.
Thanks Allyson! Aren’t those faux tags fun? Dollar Tree did a great job with Fall this year!
