St. Patrick’s Day Table

St. Patrick's Day vignette

I can’t believe that Spring is here and that I’m already sharing my St. Patrick’s Day table with you. I mean it is almost time for the wearing of the green!

Like a lot of the smaller holidays, we don’t do a lot for St. Patrick’s Day. Maybe a table set with all things Irish or  hang a wreath on the front door.

That’s about it.

By the time Spring makes its way to our house I’m ready for bunnies, carrots, pastel colors and all things garden!

So before I go crazy with Spring, I’m sharing a little of my St. Patrick’s Day decor.

St. Patrick's Day Centerpiece

The Centerpiece

As always, I like to start with my centerpiece.

First, I laid a white table runner down the center of my table.

For a little something extra, I sprinkled Lucky coins in gold and green down the table runner

I’ve had this twig basket for quite a few years and I still love it.

I added a fern to the basket, a cute bow and placed it on a cabbage plate and my centerpiece was done.

The Place Setting

I love stacks of dishes at each place setting!

I started off with this woven green placemat, which I love because it reminds me of grass.

Next up, a gold leaf charger followed be a fruit De Blanc white plate.

White plate with a cabbage salad plate

A green cabbage plate from Bordallo Pineiro was added next.

For some reason I’ve used these salad plates a ton this year.

cabbage plate with a black bowl

I love these small fruit bowls from Terramoto ceramics.

They come in two different styles, black with white polk a dots or black and white stripes.

It’s surprising how versatile these bowls are.

These were placed on top of each stack of dishes.

The Extras

To finish off the place setting a black, navy, green and white plaid napkin with a gold napkin ring was added.

These napkins are a favorite of mine right now.

I got them weeks after Christmas at Hobby Lobby for .29 cents each!

They hadn’t arrived in time for Christmas so they were selling them at 90% off.

Also, if you look closely to the left you will see my new set of gold flatware.

Yep. I finally made myself buy a set.

I can see myself using them a lot in the future.

For a place card I used  Dollar Tree Tumbler Tower game pieces to make a frame.

A little gold paint, some shamrock stickers and they are perfect embellishment for my table!

Seeded clear glassware with green and white stripped straws finishes off my St. Patrick’s Day Table.

I think that the table is fun, colorful and just the right amount of extra to celebrate this holiday.

I know my family is going to enjoy it as much as I am.

Which is really the point isn’t it?

Until next time….
