Blue And Green Thanksgiving Table
Happy Tuesday! I can’t believe that October is almost over which means that in blog land we will be ramping up for Christmas soon. However, before we go there I wanted to share a pretty blue and green Thanksgiving table with you. Because let’s face it, Thanksgiving needs to be acknowledged too!
Simple Centerpiece
Let’s start with a simple centerpiece.
I used a eucalyptus garland down the center of my table.
A fun wooden pumpkin was added to the center.
On either side of the pumpkin I added a few sprigs of fall foliage and brass candlesticks with white candles.
The Place Setting
All through out my Fall decor I used my blue decor and then added in Fall colors.
I did the same here also.
A natural placemat hosts a white charger with blue plates and a green “lettuce” salad plate.
A navy and green plaid napkin ties all the different hues of blues and greens together.
A blue and white bowl is the crown on this plate stack!
The Flatware
I chose to use this gold flatware for a little more gold on the table.
It plays so well with the brass candlesticks!
The Glass
I know that not everyone will agree with this, but I love using a large wine glass for my beverages.
Wine glasses are pretty and so large that they will hold water, iced tea and just about any beverage that you can drink!
So for me, they are the perfect drinking glass.
This blue swirl glass came from Pier One many years ago and is still one of my favorites!
My fun blue and green Thanksgiving table isn’t too fussy and yet it definitely isn’t too casual.
I think it may be one of my all time favorites so far.
So bring on Thanksgiving!
I’m ready with my blue and green table.
Until next time…
I love all the texture and patterns you used on your table. They all blend so nicely together and sets a beautiful table. I know your gathering tomorrow will love sitting around such a beautiful table. Have a fun day!
