Back Porch Furniture

Back porch furniture

Hey y’all! Today on Decorate With Us – One room at a time – my friend Terrie from Decorate With Tip and More and I are sharing our back porch furniture  with you.

Terrie has brand spankin’ new furniture at her house  while I am placing 4 year old furniture that I bought when we built our pool.

Yesterday we shared how we clean our back porches, if you missed it head on over here to see it.

Now that they are clean from top to bottom, it’s time to put all of the furniture back in our outdoor space.

I place the sitting area closest to the back door.

There are 3 windows on the back wall that I use to find the “center” of the room.

I used the middle window as my marker.

To make it easy to visually find the center as I decorate I placed my end table in the center of the middle window.

Next, I place my rug centered to the table.

Easy, peasy!

My rug is no longer available, but I found these that I think would look just as good and are economical.

For furniture in this area I chose to use 4 swivel chairs.

It makes enjoying the entire outdoor area a breeze!

They no longer have the exact set I bought, but here’s one that I think is remarkable like it.

Each set comes with two chairs and a small side table.

Poofs

Normally in this area have it set up with two poofs in the middle.

The poofs have been in the center of this arrangement since the beginning.

They are great for extra seating or a foot rest.

However, it was time for a change…

Coffee Tables

This year I decided to push the two small end tables together to create a larger coffee table for all the things – drinks, a good book, plates etc.

Buffet

Now onto to the dining area.

We found this metal tool chest at Home Depot a couple of years ago.

They no longer have the small one like I have but do have the larger one.

It’s perfect for an outdoor buffet.

While under a pergola it can still get wet and feel the weather so the powder coated metal is perfect for this spot.

Plus, it’s on heavy duty casters so it’s super easy to move around!

Outdoor dining set

We purchased this  Laurel Oaks 7 pc. dining set from Home Depot three years ago.

It has held up beautifully!

Dining set

At the time it came in 6 or 7 different colors of cushions, now it is only in white.

That’s it for furniture placement here at the Castle’s back porch!

Be sure and head on over to Terrie’s to see her brand spankin’ new furniture on her screened porch.

It’s going to be so pretty!

Until next time….

  1. Love how you placed your furniture. A very nice outdoor living area to spend cool evenings this summer.
