Easy Christmas Embellishment
Happy Friday! I love to make an easy Christmas embellishment. Almost as much as I love adding a pretty embellishment to my Christmas packages. And when I say that this one is easy – I mean it is super easy !
This is a fun craft for all ages.
Supplies
Here are the supplies you will need:
Pipe cleaners of your choice – 4 per wreath
Pencil
Tweezers
Scrap ribbon
Embellishments – rhinestones, mini jingle bells, glitter – you name it!
Scissors
Glue
I used what I had on hand, but I plan on shopping for more embellishments!
Step 1
Wrap pipe cleaners around a pencil.
Make sure to wrap snug – but not tightly – around the pencil.
Gently slide the pipe cleaner off of the pencil making sure to leave it coiled.
Do this 3 times.
Step 2
Once you have all three pipe cleaners coiled, thread all three of them onto another pipe cleaner.
Bring both ends together to form a wreath.
Using your hands to form a wreath- or like I did here, find a bottle or something round to wrap your pipe cleaners around.
Twist the ends tightly together.
Snip off excess with wire cutters.
Step 3
Decorate your wreath!
I used tiny bells, bows and rhinestones of all different sizes and colors.
To adhere the embellishments I started with hot glue and quickly went to using this silver glitter glue.
It saved my fingers and since it was silver you couldn’t see it at all.
And I love how my easy Christmas embellishment turned out!
Note: the fluffier the pipe cleaner the bigger your wreath will be!
Now it’s time to add them to my presents.
This easy Christmas embellishment turned out so cute.
I can’t wait to make more of them in all different colors.
Until next time…
