July Projects

My July projects are piling up!  I’ve already accomplished a lot, but I still have a long way to go.sports lettersI had a friend recently ask me if I didn’t love summer because things seemed to slow down?  I almost laughed out loud! Has summer slowed down for me? No! But I couldn’t be happier.  I’m still working on quite a few projects.  These painted sports letters for one.

pink girls room

I’ve completed quite a few projects that I haven’t shared with you too. This is a terrible picture, but this pink, white and gold little girls room is one of them. It also doubles as a nursery in this grandma’s home. It’s a pottery barn room and it is gorgeous in person.  Palest of pinks, added to true white and golds make this the perfect little girls room.

Tyler's chest

I’ve also worked on a few small projects for my two sons. Son number 2 needed more storage, so we painted this 5 drawer chest and added new hardware.

Tyler's pillow

I had leftover material from his high school t-shirt quilt , so I made him a pillow to match. Can you tell he likes skulls?

Ryan's key rack

Son number 1 needed a  small key chain rack, so the hubs and I made this one from a piece of wood and a drawer pull.  Hobby Lobby has the most unusual drawer pulls of late. I love it!

midcentury modern desk

I’ve also painted this mid century modern desk for son number 2. He is trying to get his  office organized and needed a new desk. I’ll share more on this transformation later.

Antique Map chest

This piece is one of my very favorite. I can’t wait to get it finished! A friend  and client of mine brought over this antique map chest for me and the hubs to fix up. It is swoon worthy. I love this piece so much I want to keep it!!  Not gonna lie, it is going to be hard to give it up.

July Projects 1

I’m also still working on my guest room in between all of these other projects.  I still need to paint the room, paint the bed and find or make curtains that I love.  Piece of cake.

Speaking of which, I’ve gotta go. So many July projects to do, so little time!

  1. Oh my gosh, Tammy! So many great projects! I love that little girls’ room you did – it’s fantastic! Oh, how I would love to get my hands on that flat file. Seriously, I NEED that for my beaded and mesh purse collection storage. I really wish I lived within driving distance. You’ve been working hard, girl!

    1. Rita,
Thanks! I love that flat file too…. Going to be one of my very favorite pieces!!! I’m already having withdrawals knowing it’s going to leave!
