Master Bedroom Reveal
Before
Happy, happy Friday peeps! Today is the Master bedroom reveal day on One Room At
A Time.
I am so here for it!
Before I get started sharing my room, I want to remind you to head on over to Terrie’s, Corine’s and Teresa’s when you are finished here both on Facebook and to their blogs to see their room reveals.
The photo above is the before of my room.
At first glance you might be wondering if it changed much at all.
The answer is yes and no.
After
This is the after!
Even though the changes are subtle, it feels like a huge difference to me.
Everything is warmer and cozier.
Art on the walls, new fabric on pillows and architectural pieces were added throughout the room.
Painted Furniture
The hope chest at the end of the bed was painted a bright white to match the bed.
However, the armoire was given a white wash finish instead of a bright white paint.
Furniture Styling
Dressers, nightstands and tables were styled with both new and old decor items.
New art was added above the bed and nightstands.
The seating area shifted to in front of the widows along with the armoire.
The Hubs side of the room is styled with a little less “stuff”.
He likes it more stream lined and masculine than my side of the room.
Honestly, while a lot has stayed the same, the feel of the room is totally different.
It’s warmer, cozier.
This room calls you to come in and curl up with a good book or to get a good nights sleep!
Please join me in visiting the other ladies to see what their reveals look like!

Tammy, your room is so inspirational. I love all the changes to the furniture; love how they flow even with different texture and color. The focal wall turned out beautiful, your room does feel warm and cozy. Love your area rug!
Thank you Terrie!
Thanks so much Terrie. It took a little getting used to moving the furniture around. I’m still walking over to the armoire side of the room to get stuff out of my dresser! lol! But so far we are loving it,
