Red, White and Green Christmas Hutch

red, white and green Christmas hutch

Happy Wednesday! Today I’m sharing one of my favorite things to decorate no matter what the season.  My breakfast room hutch. This year I’m calling it my red, white and green Christmas hutch.

Joining me is Terrie from Decorate and With Tip and More.

I’ll post her site at the end so you can visit her when you are finished here!

wooden christmas trees

Top Shelf

These wooden trees were on my mantle last year.

I loved this so much I had to use them again this year.

Wooden Christmas Trees

They are perfect for the top of my hutch.

I used this felt garland on my hutch that I’ve used the last few years with three red bows to finish off the top shelf.

Second Shelf

No matter what season, I will always use my white dishes for my hutch as well as seasonal decor.

My large plates I’ve had for years, however the reindeer salad plates I picked up at World Market the day after Christmas last year.

I placed a red bottle brush tree and a Santa mug on either side of my plate stack.

One of the Santa mugs holds a bottle brush tree, while the other has a vintage elf!

The Third Shelf

The third shelf  has more reindeer plates, another Santa mug filled with goodies, a few red bottle brush trees and the sweetest cream and sugar set.

Snow people, Christmas print

There are two tiny cubbies on either side of the small third shelf.

In each  I placed a fun Christmas print in a gold frame.

As well as these fun snow people!

The Bottom Shelf

The bottom shelf or the top of the hutch is larger than the rest so this is where I can really have fun AND put out things that we will be using during the season.

I like to  start in the center and work my way out  when decorating these shelves.

I started with lots of felt greenery picks, then placed a Santa right in the middle.

A few red trees and ornaments and this area is complete.

Christmas dishes and napkins

To the left of the centerpiece I put a stack of my plates – cause we DO use them.

A stack of plaid Christmas napkins are placed in front of them.

On the other side I put tons of shiny ornaments inside of a large white bowl.

Again, a stack of napkins  completes the area and are readily available to use at the breakfast table.

This red, white and green Christmas hutch is truly one of my all time favorites!
