Spring Powder Bath

powder bath

Happy Tuesday! We are still working at Spring cleaning our homes and today I’m cleaning and decorating my Spring powder bath.

I’ll be sure and link up Terrie from Decorate With Tip And More below so that you can hop on over to her site when you are done here.

I shared a video of me cleaning here, just in case you want to see me cleaning in action!

powder bath

I’ll be honest, not a lot changes in here.

Mainly, because I love how it looks.

monogramed towel

I love a good monogramed towel!

I’ve had this one awhile and it rotates from bathroom to bathroom because I love it so.

candle and bird decor

In the corner of the cabinet I’ve placed a white barn candle on top of a homemade pedestal.

A little greenery around it with a bow brings in the colors of the bathroom.

Plus, I love adding in greenery for color and texture whenever I can.

Two sweet birds finish off this tiny vignette.

prints

It’s hard to see, but a pretty smoke colored soap dispenser and a Wallflower finish off the other side of the vanity.

This area is small so I like to keep it as neat and uncluttered as possible.

The toilet side of the room is pretty much the same as the last time you saw it.

A boxwood wreath with pretty black and white bow sits above the toilet.

To add a little Spring to the room I added a chicken wire lantern that is filled with a terra cotta pot filled with moss.

I love bringing a little of the outside in!

Now if you watched the video on me cleaning the blog you know I promised something here that you didn’t see on the video.

Whenever I have company I love to add a little something extra to both the powder room and the guest baths.

I take my toilet paper and unroll it.

Fold the bottom left corner of the first piece of paper up toward the right hand corner.

Crease.

Then take the bottom right corner and fold it up to the upper left and corner .

Crease.

This creates a point.

Roll your paper up until it looks like this.

Go to your bathroom faucet.

Turn the water on and off quickly.

Then  place your toilet paper under the faucet and firmly press it upward for a couple of seconds.

Remove.

Hang your “monogramed” toilet paper onto it’s holder and you’ve got some bougie toilet paper waiting for guests!

It really is the little things.

I hope that you enjoyed seeing my Spring powder bath clean and ready for guests.
