Touch of Fall
I’ve been adding a little touch of fall here at the castle. Just a few things here and there…
Small reminders that before long the leaves will be turning and the air will get a little colder.
I’m ready for Apple cider, pumpkins on the front porch, lighting a fire in the fireplace and grabbing a warm, fuzzy throw to curl up in with a good book!
I like to start my decorating at the beginning. The front porch. It’s the first thing you see here at the castle.
This year I added a new hand painted” pumpkins for sale” sign. I think it may be my favorite!
I love fall mums and pumpkins. Even if the mums don’t bloom for very long here. As it gets colder I will add in kale and pansies to my fall flowers for color.
Right inside the front door is the dining room. I kept it really simple this year. I won this FABULOUS white planter at PoKeeno. It is the perfect container to just plop in a plant and you have an awesome centerpiece! I tucked this sweet little bird into the leaves of the flowers for a little added interest.
Simple, colorful and elegant!
I have been working on a few fall crafts for the table that I will be sharing with you as soon as I’m finished with them!
My family room is next. I found this super awesome throw a few weeks ago. Love, love, love it!
On a recent shopping trip to Hobby Lobby I found the beautiful teal pillow cover that matched the teal poms on the throw perfectly. A match made in heaven!
I shared these sweet little woodland animals with you earlier. You can see those here.
I’ve had these velvet pumpkins for years. I love them so much that I would leave them out year round if I could!
Of course, I added a touch of fall in the kitchen too!
Just a few pumpkins here and there.
If you have followed me at all, you know that my kitchen hutch is one of my very favorite things to decorate.
Just like the signs says: When the Queen is happy there is peace in the Kingdom!
A small touch of fall definitely makes me happy!
