Traditional Christmas Mantle
Hey y’all! Today we are decorating one of my very favorite things. And I have to say that my traditional Christmas mantle turned out pretty cute, if I do say so myself!
Garland
I kept the mirror that sits on the mantle as the centerpiece.
Next lighted garland was added.
Fun plaid ribbon and vintage ornaments were added for some color and to co-ordinate with the Christmas tree ribbon.
Strands of gold beads were draped from the mantle to add in a little bling!
Nutcrackers
Since this is a traditional mantle, what would be more appropriate than nutcrackers?
I added two of my favorite nutcrackers, then added in a brass candlestick with these fun twist candles in red.
Obessed much with these candles? Yes! Yes, I am!
I did the exact same thing on the other side of the mirror for a little symmetry.
Bells and Bow
Along with the candles, these bells just may be my favorite thing on the mantle.
They are new this year and I love them.
The bow is made up of all the ribbon that I’ll be using in this room,
Stockings
Another new purchase for me this year is these stockings.
The red sweater just feels so warm and cozy.
Stocking Tags
In our house we like to know whose stocking belongs to whom.
These name tags that I made last year are the perfect way to do that.
The Hearth
Every year I think that I am going to move this lanterns and do something different.
But some how I always end up using them.
Nutcrackers with ornaments on the inside are the perfect way to tie in the hearth and the mantle.
I hope that you like my traditional Christmas mantle as much as I do.
Now, please join me in visiting my friends to see how they have decorated their Christmas mantles.
Decorate With Tip And More
Until next time….
Wow Tammy, your mantel looks amazing. Love your collection of nutcrackers. The way you have them styled up on your mantel and inside your lantern makes a festive fireplace design. Thank you for sharing.
