Valentine Day Treats
Happy Wednesday friends! It’s time for another In The Kitchen With Us. My friends Terrie from Decorate and More With Tip and Corine from Junk To Gems will be joining me in sharing some Valentine Day Treats with you.
I’ve got fun, easy and fast treats to share with you that everyone will love and they look like you spent all day making them.
But you didn’t!
Treat Ingredients
Rice Krispies 6 cups
3 Tablespoons Butter
1 10oz bag (about 40 marshmallows) of marshmallows
or 5 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
Colored Icing of choice
Edible glitter spray – optional
Make Rice Krispy Treats
Make the Rice Krispy Treats according to directions on the box.
Once the treats are made press them into a 9 x 13 inch pan and let cool off and set upl
Cut Out the Treats
Once the teats have set up, cut out heart shapes using a heart cookie cutter.
Add Chocolate
Take your chocolate melts and melt them according to package directions.
Either dip half of your treat into the chocolate that has been placed in a bowl, or spread the chocolate onto one half of the treat.
The humidity was crazy here so my chocolate was thicker than normal, so mine were spread on.
Add Pink Icing
Now not everyone in my family likes chocolate, so half of mine I left the chocolate off.
Taking a tube of pink icing I put squiggles across the entire heart treat.
Both the chocolate ones and the naked ones.
Once this is done add your sprinkles while the icing is still wet so that it will adhere.
Add Edible Glitter
I love using this glitter on my decorated cookies.
It’s not really what I call glitter, more of a shimmer.
It gives the icing this beautiful glow.
Store in an air tight container until ready to eat.
These Valentine Day treats would be great served on a beautiful platter or wrap them up in cellophane, add a bow and give out as individual treats.
Either way they are sure to be a hit!
Don’t forget to head on over to Terrie’s and Corine’s and see the recipes that they are sharing today!

Pin For Inspiration!
Rice Crispie Treats are my favorite so this recipe will be one I will pin to make later when I have our granddaughter, Kehlani. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
Yay! So happy that you pinned and hope that you have a ton of fun with Kehlani making memories and treats!
