Decorating For The 4th Of July

Hey friends! How was everybody’s weekend? Our’s was spent in the pool, doing some much needed garden work and a little decorating for the 4th of July. Can you believe that it is next weekend?

I always feel as if summer is over when the 4th of July rolls around!

I’m a firm believer that decorating for the 4th of July doesn’t have to be big or over the top.

Nor should it be time consuming.

fireworks

Just a few well placed items can really set the stage for a fun filled day.

These new fireworks are show stoppers on the patio table.

Nor does the decorating have to be expensive!

Most of my 4th of July decor was purchased at The Dollar Tree, Target and Michaels.

Almost all of my decor was on sale, I used a coupon or was found in the dollar spot.

Patriotic table

Just a few well placed things on both the table and the buffet and our back patio is ready for a celebration.

Buntings on the pergola

I love buntings!

These are the same ones we hung for Labor Day.

I love them so much that I plan on using them on Memorial Day too!

flags in the planter

Small items, such as these flags placed in the flower pots really gives your decor a huge pop of color!

As you can see, I also love adding pin wheels in too!

Patriotic star doorhanger

Don’t forget to put something festive on the front door!

A door hanger, a wreath or basket is so inviting on any holiday.

Be sure to add a little “jewelry” to the flower pots on the front porch too.

Decorating for the 4th of July was simple, budget friendly and set the mood for a fun filled day.

Bring on the 4th!

We are so ready here at The Castle!

Until next time…
