A Berry Christmas Wreath

A Berry Christmas WreathHappy Wednesday! Today my friends Terrie at Decorate And More With Tip, Teresa at Through A Vintage Door and I are working on our front door wreath.  I’ve got a Berry Christmas wreath to share with you that is super easy, fast, fun AND I didn’t use any glue.

Supplies

Wreath

Berries

Ribbon

Jingle Bell picks

Garland

Adding a bow to a wreath

Step 1

I love making my wreaths on a board propped up on my painting easel.

It’s so easy to take a board, add a medium sized command hook to hang your wreath from.

Fluff up your wreath.

Attack a bow.

For this wreath I placed the bow in the center of the wreath.

Step 2

I  wanted to make my wreath look a little more realistic, so I took a 5ft strand of Christmas garland and wove it through my wreath.

Every few inches I would twist branches from the wreath around the garland instead of hot gluing it.

This allows me to change the wreath up from year to year.

Adding in the garland gives the wreath dimension and color.

Also, I like the look of several greenery leaves together.

Step 3

I took 11 berry picks and added them to the wreath.

Starting at the top right of the wreath, I added a pick, tucking the greenery around the pick to hold it in place.

Once that pick was secure, I added another pick below that one.

I continued doing this all the way around the wreath.

Step 4

Add in the Jingle Bell ornament picks.

I used three of these – one on either side of the bow and one directly below it.

My berry Christmas wreath is finished and I love it!

Now please join me in visiting Terrie and Teresa to see what their wreaths look like.

  1. I love your berry wreath. I too used berries in a lot of my Christmas decorations this year.
