Beep’s Baby Shower

After all of our planning, work and fun the day for Beep’s baby shower finally arrived!

We had so much fun that I thought that I would give you a little peek!

This is my niece Laura. She is Beep’s mom.  Beep’s nursery is going to be turquoise, lavender and white with a theme of  a little bit of glam and a lot of rustic! With that in mind, we thought that a glam, rustic theme would also be perfect for the baby shower.

We held the shower at my sister’s church in Geary, OK.  They have a new activity building that was the perfect size for a shower.  We kept the table centerpieces pretty simple.  Half poms with gold crowns on white table cloths. Oh, come on. You knew I was going to get crowns in there somewhere!

We played a few crazy shower games.  The price is right…

and “Don’t say baby”!  We also played an “arcade” game. Hit the baby bottle with the nerf gun! Basically, target practice. I think it may have been the ladies favorite game. I didn’t get many pictures of this game as I was too busy  taking cover  refereeing!

We used the same door screens from Laura’s wedding with a few changes. We added the gold mirror and the turquoise letter A.  A is the first letter in Beeps real name. However, I think she will always be Beep to us!

These doors are about to  transform into my sister’s head board soon. I’ll be sure and share those with you as soon as they are done.

The present table was pretty simple, lots of glittery crowns and a pretty picture frame that is just waiting for a  picture of Beep!

We voted to go with cupcakes instead of a big cake and I am so glad that we did. My sister made the cupcakes from scratch. Vanilla bean and sea salted caramel chocolate. They were so yummy they made your eyes roll back into your head!

At the end of the day Laura and Beep received so many wonderful presents and a ton of love so Beep’s baby shower was a true success!

A quick peek at my sister’s granny nursery. She and I made everything, including the baby sheets.  A true labor of love!!!! This was the first time I had seen it all put together. Didn’t she do a great job?

She added the crib and new artwork to her existing guest room.  She still has a few things to do in this room but it is already looking so good. I can’t wait to see it finished.

We can’t wait for Beep’s arrival, although I think we are finally ready for her!
