Black and White Spring Bedroom
Welcome to my black and White spring bedroom! Over on Facebook I shared how I cleaned my bed in our Spring Cleaning series, but I thought that it would be fun to show off how it looks after I got it super clean and decorated. Bring on Spring!

Let’s start with the focal point of the room – the bed.
A month or so ago, I changed out my steel blue and taupe bedding for this black and white.
You know… just to change things up a bit.
I bought the black and white blanket and the shams at Steinmart way back when it was a walk in store.
The white quilt and shams are another Steinmart purchase and stay on the bed year round.
All this combo needed was a few black and white throw pillows to complete the look.
I KNOW – I have a pillow problem for sure!
Directly across from the bed is this tall dresser which I am seriously thinking of painting.
I’ve said this for years but somehow I keep putting that on my low priority list.
Just to the right of the dresser is a small reading area.
It’s a small area, so the scale for both of these is small too.
Another chair is placed next to my nightstand.
In between the reading chair and this one is an armoire ( see photo above) which I failed to get a good picture of!
This chair is perfect to sit down, put on shoes etc.
There are two exact nightstands in this room on either side of the bed.
This one is mine and I shared it a few months ago in our “What’s on your… nightstand” series.
A few things have changed and a few have not.
This is one area that is ever changing – sometimes on a daily basis!
Which leads us right back to my bed!
The steel blue bedding may make an appearance once summer rolls into town.
You know… lighter, brighter and all that.
But for now I’m loving my black and white Spring bedroom!
