Easy Fall Kitchen Decor
Happy Friday!!! It’s the end of week 2 and we’ve been in our kitchen decorating all week long. Wednesday I shared my fall coffee bar and today Terrie at Decorate With Tip and More and I are adding easy fall kitchen decor to our cabinets tops.
Now I’m all about adding decor with the seasonal changes and holidays. However I hate removing EVERYTHING in my home to bring the new decor in.
How about we make decorating easy?
Keep most of the everyday decor, then add in the seasonal decor!
Here I kept the large platter, the lamp and the salt and pepper shakers.
All it took to make it scream fall was add in a few pumpkins and a stack of fall plates.
To make this work, I keep my same color palette and add in one or more new colors.
For instance – my kitchen is blue and white year round.
To give it that fall zhuz I added in rich, warm fall tones of orange, green and golds.
And it doesn’t take a lot of decor to change things up.
Just a few things here and there.
A few berry pick and velvet pumpkins really adds fall to my canisters.
Be sure to add in textures as well.
Here two different fall hand towels as well as some mini pumpkins into a bowl make this corner perfect for fall.
Once again I added in just a few fall decor items to my existing decor and it looks like a totally new fall vignette!
Making things look like fall can be as simple as changing out the ribbon on a wreath!
One last trick – change out the art prints in your frames.
This one had a pastoral scene until I changed it to this free fall printable.
I think it just makes this area with minimal effort.
AND it’s cost effective!
Normally this bowl holds fruit, but I placed it on an easel and put this pretty pumpkin tureen in front of it.
It doesn’t get any easier than that!
I hope that I showed you how adding easy fall kitchen decor can be.
Be sure and head on over to Terrie’s to see her kitchen countertops!
