Spring Blog Hop
Welcome to the first Spring Blog Hop. What’s a Spring Blog Hop? Two talented ladies, Cindy from Cloches and Lavender and Terrie from Decorate and More With Tip rounded up a group of fun bloggers that get together every season and share fun crafts, decor, recipes etc. that exemplify that season. I’m so excited! I can’t wait to see what all of the ladies on this hop are sharing for Spring!
If you are coming here from Michelle’s at Blessings By Me, Welcome! I’m so Glad that you are here.
Today I’m sharing my Spring mantle with you.
With all of the sub zero temperatures that we’ve had in Texas this past week I am so ready for Spring!
However, I’m not ready for a full blown Spring/ Easter theme quite yet, so while you will see a few bunnies and eggs, you are more likely to find lots of fun color and the fresh green plants against a neutral back drop.
I started decorating in our living room this year since we’ve been huddled around the fireplace so much.
Section 1:
When I decorate my mantle, I think of sections.
Section 1 is the left side when I’m facing it, Section 2 is the right side and Section 3 is the middle.
It just wouldn’t be spring without a few stems of Spring flowers.
These sweet carrots are a few of my favorite things.
I purchased them last year, here, and will probably purchasing a few more this year.
Section 2:
On the opposite end of the mantle from my flowers, you will find the sweetest white bunny.
I’ve had him for many years and he’s still a favorite of mine.
His basket has sported all sorts of fun treasures.
Candy, flowers, and eggs are just a few.
Section 3:
New to my Spring decor this year is this reversible Spring sign.
If you flip the boards around to the back side you will see the word Easter!
It was so fun to make and I’ll be sharing how I did it with you soon.
Also new, the fun Spring wreath.
If you’d like to see how it’s made, you can see the video here.
It’s hard to say which piece of decor is my favorite, but these felt ball garland are way up on the list.
Honestly, every time I look at those brightly colored balls they just make me smile!
I couldn’t forget about the hearth of my fireplace.
No big decor switch up here, just add a few eggs to bring Spring down to the hearth.
My Spring mantle is very simple this year.
Which leaves room for me to add in more fun stuff when it’s time to decorate for Easter in a few weeks.
That concludes the tour of my Spring Blog Hop.
I hope that you will join me in hopping over to Corine’s at Junk to Gems. She always inspires me and has the most beautiful home!
Also, below you can see a list of all of the participants, don’t forget to check them out also.

Very pretty, Tammy! I like the felt garland, too– it surely does brighten everything up!
I’m really loving the felt garland right now! It really is full of happy colors!
Tammy, this post made me so happy and I don’t know what I love most. The wreath is pretty and the garland is so happy. It was great to see all these colors with snow outside my window. How clever to make the letters so you just have to flip them for Easter.
Cindy
Cindy,
I’m glad that it made you as happy as it does me. I can’t imagine having snow for as long as you have. Hope your winter goes away soon and ushers Spring in!
Tammy, your home is so beautiful. I love all your Spring touches on your mantel, Its getting me in the Spring mode!
Thank you Corine! Bring on the Spring!
So many fun and festive ways to celebrate Spring, Tammy! I love all the bright and cheery colors you’ve used and your super cute bunnies too. Hope things settle down for you guys a bit this week. I know it’s been a tough winter season. Hugs, CoCo
Thank you Coco! I think we’ve seen the last of winter and are headed into Spring for sure.
So much fun color! This is definitely a happy mantel! And I love all your blue and white in the room!
It is fun color for sure! I’m so ready for Spring.
It’s so cute, bright and happy in there! Love all the color and it all goes so well with your furniture. Cheers to warmer, sunnier days!
Amen to the warmer, sunnier days Cindy! After last week, we Texans are in need of some serious light therapy for sure!
I’m really hoping all of our what looks to be dead landscape comes back. And I hope the HOA gives us all a break. Yikes. How did y’all fair with your landscaping?
Our landscaping has been really odd this year. After the big freeze I thought everything would be dead. However, when it got warm this week I checked it out and some things – like my sage – are blooming! Craziest thing ever. However, all of the new shrubs around the pool we planted last year are looking a little worse for wear. Like you, I’m hoping they come back and our HOA cuts us a little slack!
All of your spring decor is beautiful! I love the little carrots in the glass container. They’re so cute!
You always style your fireplace with so much love and fun. I love it all. Love the wreath and how it made the whole mantel come alive. Great job Tammy, by the way love the coffee table decor. I was thinking a basket with a bunny this year for my coffee table. Great designers think a like. ha!
You are too sweet Terrie! Thanks, I love my coffee table too – I may change it up a little when I do Easter. It was a quick styling for this week. I do love that basket… got it at Michaels a few years ago and it’s a favorite.
Oh my goodness, there are so many sweet elements to your mantel decor! Now I need to get my Easter stuff out!
Pinned.

PS. I’d love it if you’d share this at my link party, Sundays on Silverado, which is open now. 🌷
Thanks Niky! After it been sub zero here last week, I’m ready for Spring! lol!
Soooo fun, Tammy!!! I love your felt balls, too. I wonder if you could use styrofoam?? I know sometimes the paint type “eats” the styrofoam… Just thinking I worked with styrofoam when making all the moss balls I created this and last year. Anyway, I digress! Very pretty spring mantel and I’m glad you did a mantel display, too. 🙂
Happy decorating and it’s nice to be with you on a different hop, too,
Hugs,
Barb 🙂
Barb, I think styrofoam balls would be cute too… I’ll have to think about a way to paint them. Great idea! Thanks, I’m really enjoying the Spring mantle. So ready for “real” Spring to get here. Yes! It is great to be hopping with you again! Have a great day….
