Blue And White Hutch Decor

Good Tuesday morning!  I got up this morning intending to get a ton of things done, but instead I decided to redecorate my breakfast room hutch. Out with the garden theme and in with the blue and white hutch decor!

I started by taking down some of the plates on the wall.

Sorry, no picture, however it was feeling a little crowded up there.

Then I cleared everything off and gave it a good cleaning.

I decided to go with a blue and white theme this time.

I love this combination.

It just feels so light, bright and crisp.

Which is perfect for this time of year.

In addition to the blue and white dishes I added a spring of green here and there.

A wreath and a few other natural elements to bring in a little warmth to the cool tones.

Which makes for the perfect balance of warm and cool!

I know before much longer it will be time for all things fall.

Pumpkins will make their way into the decor.

Warm teals, oranges and yellows will be the color scheme.

However, until then I’ll be enjoying my blue and white!

Of course taking down the plates from the wall gave me an idea for a new design element for my room.

I’ll be sharing that later this week!

It’s the perfect transitional decor until it’s time for fall.
